Join us as Mary Rossen provides attendees with introductory information about OSHA such as OSHA’s mission and standards, our responsibilities as the employer, and the rights and responsibilities of employees.

Mary started her safety business after working 30 years for Levi Strauss & Co.  with the last 10 years as safety and ergonomic coordinator, safety consultant, and safety manager.

She has an Associate in Applied Science degree for "Occupational Safety and Health Technology" from San Antonio College and is an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer from  the University of Texas at Arlington.

She has been a dancer, motorcycle momma, and a speaker and trainer. She still dances (at home) and still rides, but in a convertible. As a speaker, safety is the topic she speaks the most about. Because of her experiences (good and bad) she hopes to change people's attitude about safety and OSHA.

This is a hybrid session - offered both in person and virtually via WebEx.

In person session: Choctaw Nation Headquarters, BIg Room 3 (This is near the Roots cafeteria. The cafeteria is open to the public. Feel free to arrive early and eat in the cafeteria. Or, get something “to go” and eat during the session.)
